Club Notes - April 20th, 2020

We would like to send our sincere condolences to the Sheehan family after the passing of Eleanor Sheehan, daughter of club members Andy and Anne.

St Mark's GAA Club send our sincere condolences following the passing of Brendan Aherne, brother of club member Brian Aherne.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Ryle family after the passing of club member Paul Ryle Snr.

We are all thinking of Ciaran, Paul Jnr, Mark, Deborah, Sinead and Martina and all his family and friends at this time.

Paul was heavily involved with teams in St Mark’s GAA Club over the years, as well as First Aid, and will be sadly missed by all.

A private family funeral took place on Saturday due to government advice regarding public gatherings, resulting in the club holding a tribute outside the clubhouse following the removal.

There is an online book of condolences available on the following link: https://rip.ie/death-notice/paul-ryle-belgard-dublin/420168

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Well done to Zara from the U12s and Chantal from the U10s, who each won a voucher for the St Mark's GAA Club Shop following their entries to our hurling skills challenge last week. Thanks to everyone who entered in recent weeks, everybody showed fantastic community spirit and we'll be back with more in the future.

Who knows when we will be able to return back to games at this point but it still remains crucial to stay apart to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We can stop the spread together by staying apart.
