Hi all, my name is Ken King and I am the Games Promotion Officer for St Mark’s GAA Club.
The St Marks Academy runs on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings at McGee Park during the school term for young people aged 4 to 7 years old and it is the perfect induction for all those budding future stars of St Mark's and Dublin GAA.

With the continued support from Roadstone, I am actively coaching in all the classes in all the local schools including St. Marks JNS, St. Marks SNS, Solas Chroist NS, St. Brigids JNS, St. Thomas JNS, St. Thomas SNS, St. Annes NS, St. Aidans SNS, Tallaght CNS and Scoil Aoife.
The Academy is, first and foremost, about fun and enjoyment for the children and provides them with an opportunity to make friends and get used to playing and sharing with other children.
KEY DETAILS:
Ages 4-7 year old Boys & Girls.
Every Saturday morning (10am – 11.30am) during school term, St Mark’s GAA runs a Football & Hurling Academy for boys and girls in McGee Park.
Each session has 45 mins of Hurling followed by 45 mins of Gaelic Football and comprises of a number of fun and interesting drills.
Also there is a Gaelic Football Academy every Tuesday evening 5.45pm till 7pm.
Our goals are simple – enjoyment, participation, and basic skills.
